A School Progress Plan is designed to:
* Set clear directions for the academic progress of students in this school
* Enhance the environment for positive change of adult and student behavior
* Support the school to develop the capacity for change toward improved professional practice
* Foster a willingness to change
The School Progress Plan will identify the district's and school's number one goal and priority for school improvement, including addressing all areas of No Child Left Behind (NCLB) and satisfying the accountability requirements stated in the mission statement for improved student achievement.
